Happy Valentines Day to all !

Here are some random true Romance stories in the early British Columbia newspapers....

And finally, a cute finish to this anthology:
I found this story in the John Warren Bell fonds at City of Vancouver Archives---it's from a memoir he wrote and this chapter is of of a meeting  in 1946 with a childhood crush as arranged by City of Vancouver archivist Major James Matthews. To make it easier to read I transcribed it from the original hand written pages, and tried to keep it the same as written with just an odd correction esp in using the correct spelling of Mrs. Crakanthorp's name...
