To educate, entertain and stimulate you in celebrating the world of British Columbia's artifacts & relics, paper & photographs, and other associated historical collectables material. That's what to expect from this blog.

Lots of storytelling is going to happen here! No buying or selling will happen on this site. Just presenting material and related information.

And let's acknowledge several institutions for their sharing of resources including bringing much material online such as from City of Vancouver Archives, Vancouver Public Library Speicial Collections, Universities of BC, Victoria, SFU, Alberta & Toronto as just a few praiseworthy sites.

I would be remiss if I didn't extend my gratitude to many individuals who have British Columbia history websites, to name some would have to include Jason Vanderhill & his Illustrated Vancouver project of presenting 1000 chapters on Vancouver past, present & future through art, John Mitchell who has a wonderful site www.bcghosttowns.com of videos on BC History and others of whom I hope I don't insult by not naming any more here.
